John
M. Markovich has been named as CFO for EMCORE Corporation with
immediate effect. Replacing Adam Gushard (pictured), who served as
Interim CFO, Markovich comes to EMCORE from his previous employ as
Executive VP and CFO of Energy Innovations, Inc., a venture
capital-backed solar energy company. Mr. Gushard continues with the
company as Vice President of Finance, reporting to Mr. Markovich.
A 20-year veteran of the solar industry, Mr. Markovich has experience in operational finance, manufacturing, and debt and equity financing transactions. Previous roles in his career include leadership positions with technology and financial services companies including Optical Coating Laboratories Inc., Western Digital Corporation, Pictos Technologies, Tickets.com, and Citicorp.
EMCORE Corporation is a CPV solar cell manufacturer.
