Antaris Solar setting sights on UAE and Qatar

As the Middle-East becomes an emerging solar market, more companies are set to seek business opportunities in the region. PV wholesaler and project developer, Antaris Solar is latest to announce it has opened trading posts in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar. Antaris Solar already operates in Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the USA.

“The opening of trading points in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar will shortly be followed by further international expansion of operations”, noted Dr. Michael Goede, CEO Antaris Solar.

High solar radiation levels and growing electricity demand in the region provides opportunities for solar technologies to be commercially attractive as natural resources of oil and gas in the region are better utilized for exports at high prices than used for energy generation in the region.
