Canadian Solar has revealed that it was one of the principal module suppliers for SunEdison’s recently-completed 70MW plant in Rovigo, Italy. Rovigo will power 16,500 homes in northeast Italy and has been labelled by SunEdison as the largest single-operating PV solar power plant in Europe.
“The impressive scale of this milestone European PV project is a direct testament to the high-quality work by SunEdison and its partners, including Canadian Solar,” said Dr. Shawn Qu, Canadian Solar’s chairman and CEO. “We are proud that Canadian Solar's modules were selected to be a part of this major project due to our proven track record of high quality and reliability.
