Construction starts on 30MW solar project and 10MW plant completed in Yazd, Iran

Construction has started on a 30MW solar project, while a 10MW project has also been completed in the Iranian province of Yazd.

The 10MW Ghadir solar power plant in Mehriz was launched, while another 10MW project in Ardakan is also due to be built soon.

SATBA Corporation will act as the off-taker for all three plants.

There is now 34.5MW of solar capacity in Yazd, including 202 small solar power plants, according to SATBA.

Back in April, the first solar power plant in South Khorasan Province with a capacity of 10MW was constructed by Aftab Taban Desert Company in the city of Khusf.
