Bosch Solar Energy has revealed that it will be showcasing its cell, module and installation concepts at the 25th EU PVSEC in Valencia. While demonstrating its recognized products during the four day event, Bosch will also present, for the first time, a new crystalline module consisting of 60 high-performance monocrystalline cells.

The new high-performance cell offers an output of over 250W and an efficiency of 15.5%, characteristics which have been verified by Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg, Germany.

Bosch will also display its approaches in thin-film technology, such as the micromorphous thin-film solar module, Bosch Solar Module µm-Si EU1310. The optimized module layout and interconnection concept ensures a greater module performance at a lower open-circuit voltage. This enables up to ten modules to be interconnected in a string, easing electrical installation and reducing costs.

Since the µm-Si EU1310 module’s exterior design remains unchanged, it can still be used in conjunction with the slide-in system, developed jointly with Bosch Rexroth, which will also be presented during the exhibition.

Bosch Solar is exhibiting on Level 2, Hall 1, Booth D15.
