The 2025 edition of Smart Energy Week took place last month at the Tokyo ‘Big Sight’ venue, bringing together both local and international stakeholders in the renewable energy industry to continue pushing the envelope, sharing market insights and setting the course for the future.
The Show in Numbers
The influential 3-day expo, organised by RX Japan, saw the participation of an impressive 1,492 exhibitors and 68,860 visitors involved in the booming renewable energy sector.
Information exchange was facilitated via 195 conference sessions covering the latest insights and developments.
The event attracted a mix of both local and global participants, with over 39 countries and regions represented, including Australia, Latvia, Poland, Taiwan, Finland and Singapore.
Visitors and exhibitors alike took the opportunity to experience a wide ranging show floor, mapping 7 key areas, alongside its concurrent show, the Green Transformation Week, into designated spaces.
The venue’s South Hall hosted the enormous PV Expo, with its East Hall housing expos focusing on Wind, Zero-E Thermal, H2 and FC, Battery Japan, Smart Grid, and Biomass. The already referenced Green Transformation Week additionally accommodated expos on Circular Economy and Decarbonisation.
