JinkoSolar has hosted representatives from Brazil’s New Development Bank (NDB) and postal service leader, Correios, at its headquarters to explore collaboration on rooftop solar projects and integrated solar-plus-storage solutions. The meeting was attended by JinkoSolar CEO Kangping Chen, Ms. Juliana Picoli Agatte, Director for Governance and Strategy at Correios, and He Tian, Head of the Sovereign Business Bureau at NDB.
Correios, Brazil’s largest postal service provider, plans to deploy rooftop solar systems across its core logistics and warehousing centers. The project aims to reduce operational costs through clean energy while planning an electric vehicle (EV) charging network and energy storage system, establishing a low-carbon and highly resilient energy supply. The initiative sets strict requirements for technical compatibility, return on investment (ROI) and full lifecycle service capabilities.
“We are delighted to collaborate with the New Development Bank and Correios to explore new opportunities for green energy transformation in Brazil’s logistics network,” commented. Kangping Chen. “As a key partner in Brazil’s energy transition, JinkoSolar will leverage its leading TOPCon technology and localized service capabilities to deliver efficient and reliable solar-plus-storage solutions.”
