JinkoSolar has released its financial results for Q1 2022, reporting shipments of 8.031MW, a 56.7% increase compared to Q1 2021. Operating revenue was 14.681 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 86.42%, net profit attributable to the parent company was 0.401 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 66.39%, and net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses (referred to as non-net profit deduction) 0.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 287.78%.
Total cumulative module shipments now exceed 100GW, making JinkoSolar the first PV company in the world to have achieved the milestone.
“Despite investors, developers and EPCs remaining cautious in their project planning and holding off on some purchases due to the increasing cost of materials and logistics, the higher efficiency and power generation performance of the n-type Tiger Neo module has convinced a significant number of global customers to place orders or upgrade a previous model selection,” commented Dany Qian, JinkoSolar VP, explaining the outstanding shipment levels for the quarter.
