Jinchen has announced the signing during Intersolar Europe of a cooperation agreement with Turkish module manufacturer HSA Energy, for delivery of a 500MW automated production line. The agreement represents the extension of an existing relationship dating back to 2021 and the cutover of another 500MW production line supplied by Jinchen, with HSA’s total production capacity now set to reach 1GW.

LONGi has been awarded “Top Performer” status in the 2022 edition of the annual PV Evolution Labs (PVEL) Module Reliability Scorecard - the sixth consecutive year that the company has received this recognition.

Antaisolar has showcased its latest 1P multiple slew-drive tracker, the TAI-Space, at this year’s Intersolar Europe, along with the company’s other clean energy solutions including ground and rooftop solar systems.

At present, current PERC and new TOPCon capacity are competing for limited photovoltaic installations. The future development rate of N-type cell technology will depend on cost and efficiency differences compared to PERC but, if N-type technology can continue to make breakthroughs in efficiency, cost reduction and yield control, its long-term market share is likely to exceed expectations. Against the backdrop of N-type technology developments, LAPLACE has launched TOPCon core equipment and solutions for the global photovoltaic industry.

‘SuperTrack’ incorporates a smart tracking algorithm that increases energy production by between 3% to 8% compared with conventional tracking algorithms. The system combines Smart Tracking (STA) and Smart Backtracking (SBA) algorithms to enhance energy production, particularly during periods of overcast weather, highly diffuse irradiance and with complex, uneven terrains.
