Leading Tier 1 German module manufacturer AE Solar has announced a new addition to its product portfolio with its latest Aurora series.

JA Solar has announced that its industry-leading DeepBlue 3.0 module has been chosen for a large rooftop solar project in Vietnam. The company will supply 2,882 modules, equal to a capacity of 1570.69kW, to power the local operations of the Yuzhan Group, a renowned packaging manufacturer.

Seraphim Energy has announced that its 210mm  modules have passed TÜV SÜD’s high-grade hailstone impact test, with a performance degradation rate as low as 0.2 percent.

Growatt has announced the global availability of its MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV inverter, a product which,  since its launch last year, has attracted significant attention due to its outstanding features.

KSTAR has announced the signing of a contract with Korea’s GS Global for the supply of 150MW of its high-efficiency inverters.

Located to the west of Doha over an area of 10 km2, the Al-Kharsaa project is the first solar power plant in Qatar, with a total planned power generation capacity of 800MW. The project will be equipped with LONGi Hi-MO 4 bifacial modules and a tracking system and will be the world’s largest PV project to combine these two elements. 

Huawei has been selected by R.Power Group, one of the largest players on the Polish PV market, to supply 390 MWp of its world-leading smart string inverters for numerous utility-scale solar projects in Poland.

The first 480-watt panel for the residential market is now available from JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo range. Featuring premium n-type cells, the 60-cell configuration of the module has an efficiency of up to 22.24%. Module efficiency has more value in the residential and commercial markets than in utility PV, since area-related and non-module costs such as labour and process are higher under the retail business model.

LONGi has announced the release of a new module, the Hi-MO 5m 54c. With 54 cells, the Hi-MO 5m is designed mainly for residential and C&I rooftop systems, producing a maximum power output of 415W and achieving an efficiency of 21.25%.
