SEG Solar has announced that it has once again been ranked a ‘Top Performer’ by Kiwa PVEL in its 2024 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, with the company’s Alpine N Series product excelling in all 7 tests involved.

The Kiwa PVEL Product Qualification Program (PQP) annually subjects PV modules to rigorous assessment, setting an industry benchmark for long-term reliability and performance in tests covering Thermal Cycling (TC), Damp Heat (DH), Mechanical Stress Sequence (MSS), Hail Stress Sequence (HSS), PID, LID+ LeTID and PAN Performance.

Over a six-month testing period, SEG‘s YUKON N and ALPINE N Series modules underwent evaluation including 600 thermal cycles, 2,000 hours of damp heat testing, 192 hours of PID testing, and dynamic mechanical load testing, with both products excelling in performance, stability and reliability.

“SEG Solar’s outstanding PQP test results for performance and reliability have earned it a ‘Top Performer’ ranking for three consecutive years now, underlining the company’s commitment to the selection of BOMs and product quality,” commented Kiwa PVEL VP for sales and marketing Tristan Erion-Lorico. “The Kiwa PVEL team particularly congratulates SEG for achieving Top Performer status in all test categories for its Alpine N Series modules.”

SEG CEO Jim Wood added: “Relying on the PQP and Scorecard, SEG Solar has consistently adhered to the promise of quality and reliability. This renewed recognition underscores our competitive edge in promoting American energy independence and global sustainable development.”
