Sineng Electric has provided its cutting-edge technology for Brazil’s largest solar carport,  part of the 5MW Ceasa PV plant in Goiânia.

At an overall investment of R$ 33.5 million, financed by CelgPar, the Ceasa plant is a key initiative within the Energy Efficiency Program led by the Government of Goiás. Now fully operational, the plant generates an annual 11,800 MWh of electricity, delivering substantial economic and environmental benefits.

The 2.5MW solar carport is the largest of its kind in Brazil. With 4,900 modules installed, the carport combines renewable energy generation with functional design, offering 980 parking spaces while shielding vehicles from sunlight and precipitation, the innovative structure contributing to the annual elimination of 1,697 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

The entire project was executed by EPC Moove Energia and features Sineng SP-250K-H string inverters, recognized for their exceptional operational efficiency and adaptability. Equipped with 12 MPPTs and a maximum efficiency of 99.0%, the inverters optimize power generation and enhance profitability, with I-V curve diagnosis technology allowing for rapid and accurate troubleshooting without the need for additional on-site expertise, thereby significantly simplifying the O&M process.

“We are privileged to contribute to this project, which underscores the vital role of solar technology in achieving energy efficiency and sustainability,” commented John Hu, General Manager of Sineng’s International Department. “This project not only demonstrates the vast potential of technological innovation but also reaffirms Sineng’s commitment to delivering advanced, reliable and efficient energy solutions that address modern energy needs while promoting environmental stewardship.”
