TCL Solar has taken part at Korea’s Green Energy Expo event in Daegu, showcasing its cutting-edge solar technologies including industry-leading shingled, TOPCon and BC modules.
The Daegu exhibition marked the company’s first appearance in Korea after completing its brand upgrade, combining the advantages of the TCL Group, TCL Zhonghuan and SunPower.
The full TCL Solar product lineup was on display at the company’s booth, including BC, TOPCon half-cut, and shingled modules, offering customers a wide range of choices for different scenarios. Its BC technology is built on the legacy of SunPower, following its acquisition by TCL Zhonghuan earlier this year. The G11RA-72P BC module exhibited at the event shows a significant improvement in power generation over mainstream TOPCon products through optimized performance in partial shading, temperature coefficient, operating temperature and linear power attenuation.
The company’s shingled module adopts large-sized silicon wafers in various specifications, efficient TOPCon cell technology and high-density packing technology. Combined with a series of innovative technologies including 1/3 cut cell and series parallel circuit design with independent intellectual property rights, it significantly enhances product performance and reliability.
During the event, the company signed module supply agreements with two well known local project developers, Dabin E&C and Korea Green Power, a spokesperson for the latter commenting: “We are very pleased to have this collaboration with TCL Solar. The performance and high efficiency of its modules align perfectly with our requirements. We look forward to working hand in hand to drive the development and transition of renewable energy in Korea.”
