Intersolar EU: Suniva Optimus modules are now commercially available

Exhibiting at Intersolar Europe 2011, Suniva has introduced its latest module offering, featuring the company’s ARTisun Select monocrystalline solar cells. The new Suniva Optimus modules, which produce 260 watts of power in a 60 cell module, are now commercially available with full IEC and UL certifications.

“Utilizing proprietary and state-of-the-art processing techniques that include ion implantation, Suniva continues to lead the industry with high-efficiency, low-cost solar products,” said Bryan Ashley, chief marketing officer of Suniva. “Suniva Optimus modules provide more power per square meter at an affordable price by utilizing Suniva’s highest-efficiency ARTisun Select solar cells. Products such as Optimus help us continue our commitment to making solar power more sensible.”

Optimus modules deliver an efficiency conversion of more than 16% and come with the company’s 25-year warranty. The product is also “Buy America” compliant and is manufactured to meet rigorous specifications, ensuring performance longevity.
