Orchard Supply Hardware hosts SunPower solar power systems

SunPower’s latest endeavour in California includes partnering with Orchard Supply Hardware, a chain of 89 hardware and garden retail stores located throughout the state, in order to reach a wider audience through information displays at the stores and on its website www.OSH.com.

The displays and online information describe the features of SunPower residential solar technology, the process for installing a home solar power system and information on contacting a local SunPower dealer. The website also offers information on financing options for the systems.

Tom Werner, SunPower president and CEO said, “Homeowners have many financing options when they choose a SunPower system, and SunPower dealers work with customers to ensure they choose the financing option that is right for them. We are very pleased to announce our products will now be offered through Orchard Supply Hardware stores and their online channel.”

The solar panels and systems manufacturer SunPower, has built a number of installations throughout California, including a 3.3MW facility for San Ramon school district and a 25MW facility at McHenry Solar Farm in Modesto. SunPower have recently won an application to complete its plant in San Luis Obispo County following a lawsuit by North County Watch over California Valley Solar Ranch.
