Project Focus: Solyndra, Enerqos complete phase one of Nova Coop rooftop installation

Solyndra and Enerqos Group have completed the first stage of their multi-store installation project with the grid-connection of a 200kWp rooftop project for Nova Coop in the Vibo Valencia province of Italy.

“Nova Coop is showing strong leadership and demonstrating their commitment to the environment by utilizing unused rooftop space to generate solar energy,” said Solyndra managing director for Europe, Clemens Jargon. “We are pleased to be working with the Enerqos Group to implement our unique solar technology on what will ultimately be more than 15 Nova Coop distribution centers in Italy.”

Enerqos implemented the Solyndra CIGS system through its ‘Industrial Roof Business Unit’ and with the help of local partner, PhotoVoltaic Systems.
