SECI tenders 100MW solar EPC contract for coal firm in Telangana

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a notice of interest (NIT) under a tender for EPC services at a 100MWac solar PV project at Singareni Collieries Company Limited, in the southern state of Telangana.

The package includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning under different packages including 10 years of O&M services provision.

Last August, SECI issued a tender for EPC services on 150MWac of solar at Singareni Collieries Company, which is a coal mining firm owned jointly by the state and central governments.

At the end of 2018, Telangana had the second highest capacity of large-scale solar commissioned in Indian states with 3,501MW, according to a Bridge to India report.
