The ninth auction for rooftop solar PV awarded 54 projects with an average price of €98.2/MWh, a slight decrease from the previous tender.

The sixth PPE2 tender for ground-mounted solar ended up slightly oversubscribed as the French government tendered for 925MW of PV capacity.

France has awarded 172.9MW of solar PV capacity in the most recent auction, according to the country's Ministry of Solidarity and Ecological Transition. The tender was oversubscribed and ended up awarding 32MW more than the planned 140MW capacity, spread between 66 projects.
