France decreases 2035 solar PV target to 90GW

France has revised down its solar PV target by 2035 from 100GW to 90GW in its latest Multiannual Energy Programme (PPE3).

The sixth PPE2 tender for ground-mounted solar ended up slightly oversubscribed as the French government tendered for 925MW of PV capacity.

Germany awards 2.1GW of ground-mounted solar in first tender since Solarpaket reforms

The auction closed on 1st July almost twice oversubscribed after 4,206MW of applications were submitted for the 2,148MW of tendered capacity.
