The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (MOIT) has released a draft circular containing guidelines on how to develop solar PV in the country, but has failed to address a range of issues that could impact large-scale project bankability, according to analysis from multinational law firm Baker McKenzie.
Independent solar developer 8minutenergy announced Wednesday that it has received approval on a power purchase agreement to develop the 90MW Springbok 3 Solar Farm in Kern County, California.
Sandstone Solar, a 45MW PV plant in Arizona, has been officially opened by developer Spower and utility Salt River Project, which will buy power from the plant.
