US residential solar installer Sunnova has secured a conditional commitment from the US Department of Energy which will offer up to US$3 billion in a partial loan guarantee.
Israel-headquartered smart energy technology company SolarEdge has acquired the entire share capital of UK-based Hark Systems, an energy analytics and internet-of-things (IoT) company. SolarEdge said that the acquisition will enable it to offer its corporate and industrial (C&I) customers increased capacity to manage their energy assets.
A group of investors including Statkraft Ventures has invested US$3 million in software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Glint Solar and its site identification technology for both ground mounted and floating solar parks.
