Taiwan utility Taipower has started feeding electricity to the grid from what will eventually become the largest solar PV project in the country, based in Changhua County.
Taiwan-based merchant PV manufacturer and downstream project developer Neo Solar Power Corporation (NSP) said its ‘Glory BiFi’ mono PERC bifacial modules had been selected for the Taipower’s ChangHua 100MW solar system project, potentially the largest plant to use bifacial modules to date.

Taiwan state-owned utility Taiwan Power Co. (Taipower) has delayed plans to commission 500MW of solar by 2020 by two years, now scheduling 300MWp of that solar to be online by 2022.
