Indian PV manufacturer Waaree Energies has bagged an EPC and module supply contract for a 60MW(AC) solar project in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam, in association with an unnamed large-scale solar provider.

Having set up an office in Vietnam, this is Waaree’s first project in Southeast Asia. It will be supplying its high efficiency mono-crystalline modules for the plant, which has now been approved by monopoly utility EVN and will benefit from the Feed-in tariff subsidy.
